Our PTA works behind the scenes to fund classroom grants, supplement teacher supplies, organize community events like Walkathon and Eaglefest, and provide the "extras" that make our school special. Your voice and your time matter. Join us today to stay informed, get involved, and make a direct impact on your child’s education.

Be Your Child's Biggest Fan

Joining the Imai Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is the most direct way you can help every student meet his or her potential. Your membership gives you a voice and a vote in deciding how we direct our efforts and our funds. Your attendance is encouraged (but not mandatory!) at the association meetings where enrichment programs, budgets, and school events are discussed.

We encourage each family to become a member of Imai PTA so we can continue delivering the programs and services that serve all our kids and support all our teachers.

We use the California PTA system, TOTEM, to manage our membership and donations. Membership is just $12 per person (plus a $1 convenience fee), and our suggested donation for 2025-26 is $200 per Imai student. Click the button below to join and donate online throughout the school year! ​

Ways to get involved:

• Join the PTA Board

• Join one of the committees of our school community events (e.g. Walkathon, Auction Fundraiser, Book Fair, Eaglefest)

• Be a volunteer at community events and assemblies

• Participate in beautification events

• Become a Room Parent

• Become a classroom reader for SEL (social emotional learning)

• Chaperone for field trips

• Help set up staff appreciation events

• Be a school library helper

Konstella is an all-in-one platform which we use as the main source for our communications and events management. It is a private social group for verified parents and staff to communicate with one another.

PTA newsletters are published via Konstella weekly, and it is also where you will find volunteer and event sign-up sheets.
